About this event
This Sunday, April 28 is designated as National ParkRx Day! This is a day that encourages healthcare providers to prescribe outdoor activity as a treatment for staying healthy and we couldn't agree more! We will be hosting our first Walk with the Doc event in honor of this special day. Meet us at Kapiolani Park at the Kapiolani Bandstand at 8:30am with a kick-off presentation with Dr. Coles about the health benefits of nature and then mingle with our wonderful community as we take a walk around the park perimeter. Did you know that less than half of all American adults meet the CDC’s 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines? Let’s change this statistic and get active together!
