Walk with a Ranger - Adams County Walks Event

Come join us for a fun and educational walk with an Adams County Park Ranger at Twin Lakes Park! This event is perfect for those looking to get outside, connect with their neighbors, and learn more about the local environment. Explore the beauty of the park while gaining insights from a knowledgeable ranger.

We will meet for a brief greeting and plan to depart 5 minutes after the start time.

This walk is accessible for all ages, abilities, and fitness levels - participants will be on a sidewalk path the entire time.

Frequently asked questions

How long will the walk be?

The event will last between 45 minutes - 1 hour. We will be walking around Twin Lakes Park, which is about .5 miles long. There will be short breaks throughout for the Ranger to share information with the group.

What amenities are available at the park?

Twin Lakes Park has a dedicated parking lot, restroom facilities, and a playground.

Should I bring anything with me?

Bring along any items that will make you the most comfortable on the walk - a water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, comfortable shoes and clothing, etc.
