Walk & Learn at Oxbow Preserve
Overview
Explore a new trail with the Environmental Resources Department's award-winning guided nature program series. Join a hike and traverse a few miles of walking trails within 11,000 acres of protected land in the county. Join an experienced guide, get outside and enjoy the natural wonders of St. Lucie County!
· Walk & Learn at Oxbow Preserve (8:30am-10:30am) – Explore around the Oxbow Preserve nature trails then transition indoors for a sit-down seminar experience to learn more about the wild plant and animal species we encountered and how geology and hydrology determines plants and animal communities.
ERD Guided Nature Program hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. GNP season now runs from September through June.
