"I vividly remember the moment I wrote my first song 20 years ago. I was feeling trapped and overwhelmed, and all I could do was sing, cry, scream, and laugh while playing my guitar until my fingers bled. Little did I know at the time that this was the birth of Wake the Voice. Over the years, I've used my musical gifts in two unique ways: performing my own compositions as a singer/songwriter and using music as a therapeutic tool. As a certified SLPA and Registered Behavior Technician, I've merged my diverse backgrounds in music, speech pathology, and behavior science to create a truly unique approach to vocal therapy and coaching. Through my experience as a song leader and vocal coach, I've been fortunate enough to facilitate retreats all over the world, bringing the power of music, meditation, and full sound expression to those seeking to reconnect with their inner voice. As an instructor for nearly a decade, I'm dedicated to helping others develop their personal interests in music and reconnect their mind, body, and spirit through the voice.
