ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Jillian Jacqueline

A blend of blatant honesty and unflinching hope permeate American singer-songwriter Jillian Jacqueline’s music. Inspired by an array of musical greats from Patsy Cline to Elvis Presley, Patty Loveless and Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jacqueline’s precocious talents and ability to dig deep make her a natural-born storyteller. With country-pop sensibilities, inviting melodies, honeyed vocals and sharp, self-aware lyrics, Jacqueline’s music has left listeners spellbound and landed her on a range of iconic stages from the Ryman Auditorium to the Grand Ole Opry and Late Night with Seth Myers. Born in Chester Springs, PA, the artist began writing and performing at a young age. Jacqueline landed a gig on Broadway at 9 years-old where she was discovered by musical icon Kenny Rogers. After moving to Nashville, Jacqueline swiftly made a name for herself. In 2014, she collaborated with Richard Marx on a string of songs including her single “Overdue,” featuring harmony vocals from Vince Gill. Since then, her releases have amassed millions of plays and critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, NPR, CMT, Billboard and more. After signing with Big Loud Records in 2016, Jacqueline released a series of EPs and singles—like “If I Were You,” featuring Keith Urban. In 2022, Jacqueline released her debut album Honestly (produced by long-time friend and collaborator Tofer Brown) via Virgin Records. But her forthcoming album, motherdaughtersisterwife, is her most evocative offering yet. After a period of intense transformation following the birth of her son, Jacqueline discovered her creativity wasn’t stifled—it soared. “Becoming a mother opened me up to acknowledging my own stories, patterns and scars in a way I hadn’t anticipated,” she says. “I felt like I was bursting at the seams with inspiration—it was relentless.” Jacqueline’s unmatched introspection allowed her to examine her new role whole-heartedly, bringing her signature bare-it-all storytelling to even greater depths. In fact, tracks like “Year of the Dragon,” “Martyr” and “Bright Eyed Baby” (produced by Ian Walsh) shimmer with an emotional honesty so brutal it’s downright beautiful.

This new album marks an evolution in Jacqueline’s musical landscape—one that’s as vibrant as it is visceral. “At its heart, this record is a time capsule of the most intimate moments of a wilderness season.”

slimdan

slimdan (Danny Silberstein) is many things. As an artist, you might have seen him having fun on tour with Remi Wolf. As a songwriter, you might hear his writing on records by Sasha Alex Sloan, Nessa Barrett, JAWNY, Tiesto or King Princess. As an instrumentalist, you might hear him playing guitar, keys, or even a ganjo from time to time. As a human, you might spot him at the Hazeltine basketball courts, eating a breakfast burrito, or buying avocados around the San Fernando Valley, where he was born and raised and lives with wife and his bulldog (Mozart). Amongst all of these activities, slimdan also just released his debut album, "Second Dinner" - AND his deluxe, "(second) Second Dinner", with features including Medium Build, Adam Melchor, Lennon Stella, Devon Again and Corook. Slimdan is having fun!

Presley Haile

Presley Haile’s songs unfold like fireside stories told by one of your closest friends. Thoughtful lyrics reflect a level of warm wisdom that belies her 22 years, while robust and soulful vocals strike an emotional chord rooted in her relatable firsthand experience with loss and love that’s befitting of country troubadour tradition. She sings straight from the heart about what she’s seen, heard, and lived through. That’s why the Texas-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist leaves a lasting imprint with each tune, threading together vintage country, dusty Americana, and alternative folk. Immersed in music since her childhood in Hamilton, TX a small town on the edge of the hill country, she picked up a gig as the house opener at local bar at 16-years-old, honing her chops and craft on stage. Post-high school, Presley made her way to East Texas where she wrote, recorded, and performed at a relentless pace. She cut tracks at The Zone in Dripping Springs, TX alongside producer Pat Manske and co-producer and manager Larry Joe Taylor. During 2021, she dropped her debut “New Mexico” followed by the 2023 fan favorite “Mountain Daughter.” The latter amassed hundreds of thousands of streams and paved the way for “Less Lonesome” and “Lone Star State of Mind.” In between, she opened for the likes of Randy Rogers Band and more. A 2024 performance of “Mosquito” on the Chill Country YouTube channel caught the attention of Columbia Records and she landed a deal. Now, her story comes into focus on a series of 2025 singles for Columbia Records and more to come.

Alex Amen

Alex Amen is a twenty-six-year-old artist and songwriter from Texas. At eighteen Alex moved from Texas to California to study filmmaking. After one semester he dropped out and moved onto the "Dittman Family Commune", a commune with historic ties to the countercultural movements of the mid-60’s. It was here that he formed his first band, “American Slang” in 2017. The band broke up shortly after, resulting in Alex’s move from Southern California to an island in the Puget Sound of Washington State. The next three years he spent in relative isolation, taking up various interests in mycology, mountaineering, poetry, and wooden boat building. As years passed, Alex felt the increasing need to return to California to pursue music. In January of 2023 he self produced his first batch of recordings (unreleased) in a self built studio at the historic Zorthian Ranch in Altadena, California. Alex now lives in Los Angeles and is performing and releasing music among the growing folk/Americana/country scene in the city.
