Discover the Future of School Field Trips — Without Leaving Campus

Join us at Wilson C. Riles Middle School for an exciting, hands-on VR Field Trip Demo built specifically for Sacramento-area educators and school leaders. Experience firsthand how virtual reality can transform science education, increase student engagement, and align with California’s NGSS and CAST science testing requirements — all from the convenience of your own school gymnasium.

Hosted by HEROES Virtual Reality, this free showcase highlights how immersive, standards-aligned VR experiences can deliver the impact of a traditional field trip — without buses, permission slips, or lost instructional time.

Event Highlights: 🔭

We’ll guide you through two classroom-ready modules:

  • The Solar System 🌌 – take students on a journey through space, from the sun to the farthest planets
  • The International Space Station 🛰 – explore STEM concepts through a free-roam tour of orbital life and systems

Each module is delivered through a fleet of 40 standalone VR headsets, allowing an entire class to participate together. It’s affordable, flexible, and scalable — perfect for schools of any size.

Why This Matters: 💡

“Virtual Reality makes it more affordable to take your classes to outer space than to your local museum.” – VRCore
