By City of Costa Mesa | Parks & Community Services Department
Multiple dates

Overview

Join city staff to restore native habitats in Fairview Park every second Saturday of the month!

Help us restore native habitats to increase biodiversity in the park! This work supports the park’s endangered and threatened species, promotes the success of the native plant community, and restores and preserves critical wildlife habitat! During the restoration days you will help by:

  • Removing invasive and non-native plants
  • Planting native plants
  • Maintaining the installed plants by watering them

This is a great opportunity to learn about native plants and wildlife!

Bring plenty of water, a hat, close-toed shoes, and sunscreen! All tools and gloves will be provided. Meet at the south end of the parking lot where indicated by the red pin in the picture.

Restoration days are every 2nd Saturday of the month from 9am-11am.

Please fill out this waiver once, and you will be covered for all of 2025!
