Join Us for the Volunteer Event @ Millport Conservancy!
Join us for a morning of helping to remove targetted invasive plant species along the Lititz Run, followed by the installation of native shrubs that will continue to enhance the 75-acre conservancy. This will also be an opportunity to learn from experts about the natural and cultural history of the area.
We are capping the number of volunteers at 30, so please make sure to register in advance to secure your spot!
We will provide light snacks and drinks for our volunteers.
What to bring: long pants, long sleeves, boots or sneakers, water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, any necessary medications, positive attitude and willingness to help! We will provide the necessary tools for this work, but if you have your own gardening and/or work gloves to bring that would be a huge help!
Notes:
- There are patches of poison ivy in the area where we will be working.
- A rain date is scheduled for November 22nd.
- Registrants will be notified of any changes or additional details about the event via the email provided with your registration.
