Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling and community connection, presented by Arkansans for Improving Maternal Health and The Yarn. This special event will spotlight the real experiences of local mothers as they share personal stories that bring awareness to the challenges—and resilience—within our maternal health system.

What to Expect

  • 5:30–6:30 p.m. – Reception: Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks while connecting with fellow community members, maternal health advocates and organizations offering resources for moms, babies and families.
  • 6:30–7:30 p.m. – Storytelling Program: Hear from local mothers as they share their lived experiences with pregnancy, birth and postpartum care in our state. These heartfelt stories are raw, authentic and deeply moving—shining a light on the real-life impact of Arkansas’s maternal health crisis.
  • 7:30–8:30 p.m. – Talkback with Local Experts: Stick around for a powerful conversation with local maternal health professionals and advocates. This moderated talkback will explore the state of maternal health in South Arkansas, spotlight community resources and offer actionable ways to support families in your area.
