Voice of the Oracle: A BPJ Iron Mouth Workshop with Kemi Alabi
By Beloit Poetry Journal
Online event
Overview
The BPJ's inaugural Iron Mouth Curatorial Fellow Kemi Alabi presents a generative hour-long workshop on engaging with archive.
The Iron Mouth Curatorial Fellowship takes its name from a poem Gwendolyn Brooks wrote in response to the work of Robert Frost, published in the Beloit Poetry Journal in the mid 1950s. In this tradition, the fellowship builds on the BPJ’s decades-long tradition of fostering conversation between poets across time.
Join the BPJ's inaugural curatorial fellow, Kemi Alabi for a free generative workshop on engaging with archive. We'll also celebrate Alabi's recent work inspired by the BPJ's archive which documents 75 years of American poetry!
