This annual event brings together hundreds of Latino students, families, educators, and community partners for a powerful celebration of educational achievement. Schools are invited to send a delegation of Latino students to attend. The event honors our 2025 Viva College! Scholarship recipients and members from the community that have impacted Latino Students.
We are thrilled to welcome Angela Cervantes, award‑winning children’s author and dynamic storyteller, as our keynote speaker. Angela’s work has inspired thousands—from her Pura Belpré Honor book Lety Out Loud to her Disney/Pixar junior novelizations of Coco and Encanto. With roots in Mexican‑American communities, she brings an authentic voice and passion to her stories and speaking.
