We are excited to share that we will be hosting a special evening screening of a new documentary on PEI’s Forest ecosystems, created by Eric Edward, Director of the MacPhail Woods Ecological Forestry Project, in partnership with the Forested Landscape Priority Place (FLPP) program.

Vital Forests is a four-part documentary series that explores coastal, riparian, wetland, and upland forests. Combining interviews with experts and stunning footage, each film guides the audience through one unique ecosystem — showcasing the best examples that remain, the species at risk that call them home, their beauty and abundance, and the challenges they face.

Following the screening, we will be hosting a live panel discussion with the experts featured in the film, offering space for questions, dialogue, and community conversation.
