Visual Poetry Workshop with Camilo Loaiza Bonilla
Overview
Join us for a hands-on visual poetry workshop led by visual artist and poet Camilo Loaiza Bonilla. In this workshop, participants will explore storytelling through collage and poetry, using personal and found images to create unique visual poems. We invite you to bring copies of family photographs—images that hold meaning, memory, and connection. These photos will be incorporated into your visual poem through collage; all other materials will be provided. You’ll also have the opportunity to digitize your visual poems and photographs, preserving your stories in a digital format. This workshop is open to all ages and skill levels. We welcome you to join us in this space of reflection, storytelling, and community.
Date: Saturday, Dec. 20
Time: 12 PM–3 PM
Class Size: Limited to 25 participants
