Visions Within: Painting Your Inner Mythology
This workshop isn’t just about learning technique—it’s about uncovering your artistic voice. In this ongoing monthly series, each student will dedicate a full month to creating one deeply personal painting, bringing it to a finished stage by week 4 or 5.
Every month, we’ll begin a new painting in the series—giving you the chance to explore fresh themes and build a cohesive body of work over time. Guided prompts, symbolism research, sketching, and layered oil painting will help you move beyond the how of painting into the why of your art.
Think of it as a journey: each month adds a new piece to your visual mythology. Whether you explore themes of death, creation, archetypes, or personal spirituality, you’ll create paintings only you could make.
- Small group sessions: Saturdays are dedicated, focused workshops (11–4).
- Optional studio drop-ins: Thursdays (12–5) for extra painting time with guidance.
- Supplies provided: Paints, mediums, brushes, and more. You only need to bring your canvas.
- Tech-friendly: A laptop or tablet is recommended for reference images and inspiration.
