About this event
Are you a poet who identifies as a woman of color or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color)? Are you looking to find an international community of fellow women of color poets? Come join us!
During our monthly virtual writing sessions, we invite you to join us and create new poems based on writing prompts shared with the group. You have the option to share your work if you wish.
We are holding space specifically for women of color and ask that only individuals who identify as such participate. We will discuss themes in our writing that may relate to our identities. Poets of all experiences/education are welcome!
A Zoom link will be provided to all registrants prior to the event.
We meet on the third Sunday of the month at 4:30 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), so remember to place a reminder on your calendar!
Founded in 2022, Nido Poetry Collective is a group dedicated to creating a space for women of color poets from around the world to discuss poems and generate new poetry in community. We curate virtual writing sessions and in-person writing sessions. We have hosted dozens of in-person and virtual writing sessions for women of color worldwide.

No. This space has been specifically curated for women of color, especially since spaces like these are not common for our communities.
Absolutely! We welcome women of color from around the world. This is a space where we can connect with women of color writers globally and share our experiences with one another.
