Live attendance is preferred for opportunities for group interaction, but the session will be recorded and sent out if you are unable to make it to the session live.

Foundational Workshop Objectives:
Dr. MC McDonald will be sharing strategies and tools that will be helpful for yourself and to use with your clients, all about processing and healing from loss. Some topics will include:

1. The six needs of the grieving

2. Witnessing loss rather than fixing it

3. Creating small, meaningful rituals of remembrance & connection.

2) Working with Guilt, Anger, Numbness - Navigating the complex emotions of grief

3) Integration and Meaning - Finding collective resilience and honoring those we’ve lost

N OTE: This training activity is funded in partnership with Chabot -Las Positas Community College District and Mendocino County Social Services Agency, with grant funding that is specifically allocated to training professionals and caregivers in Mendocino County who work with foster youth or those at risk of entry.
