VIRTUAL WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
This workshop provides participants with an integrated system for classroom management: The Four R's of Classroom Management.
Every calm classroom shares one consistent element: predictability. When teachers and students know what to expect, disruptions decline and learning flourishes. Yet many educators find themselves managing behavior with patchwork strategies and minimal support. Classroom disruptions don't happen because teachers don't care or because students want to be disruptive. They occur because classroom management is often nottaught. When teachers need support, they usually receive guidance that is too general and abstract, devoid of concrete guidance or strategies.
This results in scattered approaches such as:
- inconsistent enforcement of RULES and expectations
- loss of instructional time due to unclear procedures and ROUTINES
- ineffective REWARDS systems
- insufficient RELATIONSHIPS
Teachers don't need more classroom management strategies. They need a framework that connects what they're already doing into a coherent system. When strategies exist in isolation, they work briefly then fade, leaving students experiencing inconsistency and teachers cycling through techniques despite their best intentions. This workshop emphasizes synthesis over addition, guiding participants to assess what works, identify gaps, and build a tailored system that creates genuine predictability.
By the end of this session, participants will understand how to:
- Establish clear, concise, and enforceable classroom RULES that students can consistently follow, fostering mutual respect and collaboration.
- Create efficient ROUTINES that reclaim 10-15 minutes of instructional time. Minimize losses during transitions, promote student independence, and enhance learning by reducing decision fatigue.
- Develop an inclusive classroom REWARDS system that celebrates growth and effort, encouraging students to embody positive behaviors.
- Strengthen teacher-student RELATIONSHIPS with low-effort, high-impact practices that promote respect and accountability, fostering engagement and creating an inviting classroom environment
- Implement a 30-day ACTION PLAN with specific steps to turn these ideas into actions, and establish a maintenance plan for ongoing, monitoring and adjustments.
In this focused 90-minute session, participants will work through the Four R's framework, Rules, Routines, Rewards, and Relationships, and leave with an action plan they can implement immediately in ways that align with their classroom culture and teaching style.

Is this workshop beneficial for elementary educators?
Our workshops are differentiated to meet the needs of all levels, K-12. With that said, Kelvin Oliver, the presenter, was a PK-6 campus administrator when he implemented Restorative Practices on a campus. His time as a campus administrator is where he developed many of the concepts that are presented during these workshops. While the focus will be on all grade levels, elementary educators will not walk away from this workshop feeling that it didn't apply to them.

Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that you will be able to receive continuing education units if you attend our workshops. We offer our workshops around the country and we are in the process of ensuring our attendees can earn credits in the future.
Are these workshops only intended for administrators?
No, you don't have to be an administrator to attend these workshops. All educators that attend these workshops will find great benefit in these workshops.
