VIRTUAL Tuition Assistance and College Orientation
Purpose: Provide the basis of paying for college while on active duty and establish an undergraduate knowledge base necessary for successful college admissions and academics.
• Military Tuition Assistance (TA) and why degree planning is important to college funding success and degree attainment
• Build your skills through Online Academic Skills Course (OASC)-- knowledge check, increase testing scores for college placement exams, ASVAB, and GT scores.
• Learn the benefits of Joint Services Transcript and College Level Examination Program
* This course is MANDATORY for any Active Duty looking to utilize this benefit for the first time.
**Training is ONLY open to MCRDSD/WRR Marines and their families. Registration for each assigned training closes at 1100 (PST) the day prior to the training date. You may still sign up after registration closes by calling the Education Center at (619)524-1275/8158
