Standards of Quality Recertification: Implementation Across the Continuum of Quality

How can we best support families in a consistent, high-quality way?

The Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support, developed by the National Family Support Network (NFSN), offer a nationally recognized framework to guide planning, service delivery, and evaluation. Grounded in the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families™ Framework, the Standards create a shared language for programs like Family Resource Centers, home visiting, and early childhood initiatives. This streamlined refresher training is designed for individuals who completed the Standards Training within the past two years and have been actively implementing the Standards into their daily program or network practices.

This 4-hour recertification training is designed to:

• Refresh your knowledge of the Standards
• Reflect on current practices
• Recommit to quality and family-centered support
• Deepen your understanding of implementation strategies
• Strengthen shared learning around the value of recertification

📌 Ideal for teams: Executive Directors, Program Managers, Coordinators, and Direct Service Staff.

✅ Participants receive a 2-year recertification certificate from NFSN.

Please note:

The training will take place 12:00pm-4:00pm, including breaks.

The training will begin promptly at 12:00pm ET (11:00amCT, 10:00amMT, and 9:00amPT). Please plan accordingly, as latecomers and those who do not participate in the full training each day will not receive certificates.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we have developed policies that balance those with the costs of providing trainings:

Cancelation Policy: Registration may be canceled until 5 pm ET on October 12th for a refund minus a $50.00 processing fee. Cancelation requests should be emailed to NFSN at training@nationalfamilysupportnetwork.org. There are no refunds after October 12th.

Transfer Policy: Registration may be transferred to one of the next three available trainings for a $25.00 processing fee up to and until 24 hours before the scheduled start of the training. Transfer requests should be emailed to NFSN at training@nationalfamilysupportnetwork.org.
