Bethany’s virtual core sessions are three hours each on the “Teams” platform. These sessions are interactive and involve discussions, role plays, activities, videos, podcasts, and an informational slide show. During these sessions we encourage families to ask questions, explore biases, and speak to their excitements as well as concerns. It’s an ideal venue to explore foster care on a deeper level and get an idea of what to expect moving forward in your journey.
Please come prepared to engage our virtual training sessions to the fullest. Make sure you are in a quiet space free from distractions and have screen large enough to follow along on the slides. Also ensure your camera is working so you’re visible for all participants. Feel free to bring dinner and snacks, we just ask kindly that you mute your microphone. Finally, if you can’t make the training please contact your trainer as soon as possible to let them know.
