Dr. Sherilynn Black
Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement and Assistant Professor of the Practice of Medical Education at Duke University

Dr. Black is a leading national figure in faculty development and mentorship. Her research explores how race and difference shape organizational structures in academia. She co-chairs the National Academies Roundtable on Mentorship, Professional Development, and Well-Being, and her work has been recognized by the NIH, HHMI, AAMC, and Cell Press, among others.
