UPDATE: To keep the feel of a live audience and supportive, present community, we will require that participants have their video on during the open mic. Anyone who is unable to join without their camera will unfortunately not be allowed to join/participate. If this is a problem, please message me in advance of the mic.

Now welcoming the global community of artists to connect with others during this time of isolation and uncertainty in an effort to bring some light to our lives during a seemingly dark time.

Whether you're an artist looking for a platform or you're tired of Netflix and isolation, you're all welcome to join!

We are a totally open mic and welcome music, poetry, comedy, whatever... just please keep your clothes on.

In order to join, you will need to download Zoom on your computer or smart phone.

NOTE: Once you join, you will need to choose your audio options (Telephone and Computer Audio)

Additional details:

• Each performer will have 4 minutes to perform
• We do not go in any particular order and performers will be picked at random
• The host will control who is muted/unmuted and will decide who needs to be muted in an effort to mitigate any distractions during the performances
• While we are totally OK with profanity, we will not tolerate disrespect or harassment of any kind. Anyone who breaks this one rule will be eliminated from the Virtual Open Mic and will not be welcome back
• Performers are encouraged to share their instagram/facebook/websites with the group chat
• Have your webcams and audio tested before joining
