Virtual Open House - Dr Butterfield on Virgil's Aenied
Overview
We are delighted to invite you to a virtual open house, part of a series designed to welcome prospective students into the living conversation of the humanities.
Each session begins with a brief introduction by a Ralston Fellow, followed by a 20–25 minute lecture from one of our professors, and concludes with a live Q&A. The purpose of this event is to offer a glimpse into the intellectual life of the College and the questions that animate its faculty and students.
If you are curious about Ralston’s one-year MA in the Humanities, this open house offers a chance to experience its spirit firsthand. The program invites students into a deep engagement with the great works of Western civilization, from Homer and Plato to Dante and Shakespeare, through thoughtful reading and conversation.
