Be natural and comfortable in a virtual environment

About this event

Have you ever marveled at that friend who seems to know everyone?

Or the one who, even during COVID, has been fearless about making new contacts and benefiting from them?

Why are these people able to find a job, get a promotion or close a deal in a snap, while you struggle just to get a meeting? The difference usually lies in the way they build and use their networks. Like it or not, most of our personal and professional successes will come through people we know. LinkedIn “connections” only get us so far. The real power of a network comes from knowing how to leverage our relationships with friends, colleagues and even perfect strangers, a skill that doesn’t come naturally to most of us, especially if we’re on the shy side.

If you are the kind of person who feels awkward in a (Zoom) room full of strangers or thinks you aren’t taking full advantage of the network you already have, join us for a lively presentation, “Comfortable Virtual Networking Techniques That Will Make Your Career.” You’ll learn natural and comfortable techniques for meeting new people virtually or in person, developing meaningful relationships, and using your network to achieve your goals.
