Virtual Kaizen Events - How to Become a Master Virtual Facilitator
Event Information
About this Event
Workshop Description:
Kaizen workshops have been done in person since the beginning, yet did we ever stop to improve our own processes? Did we ever question why we needed to meet together or how we could do it faster and with a more agile response? Along came COVID and forced all of us to rethink how we work.
Jared Thatcher, a Continuous Process Improvement Program Manager at the Port of Seattle, a government agency, will talk about the improvement efforts that the Port took to be able to continue Kaizen events virtually and provide the virtual facilitation skills you will need to be able host your own virtual Kaizen workshops. Come and learn about the journey the Port of Seattle has taken to take their improvement culture virtual and apply these lessons into your own company culture.
Workshop Objectives:
- How to structure virtual Kaizen workshops
- Tips for facilitating virtual Kaizen workshops
- Pros and Cons of virtual Kaizen workshops
- Hands on experience using tools to facilitate activities for Kaizen / Rapid Improvement Events
