The Extension Master Food Volunteer Program in Chatham County is designed for individuals who want to make a difference in their community through food-related activities and service. Extension Master Food Volunteers (EMFVs) receive specialized training in cooking, food and kitchen safety, nutrition, food systems, and more.

Our next EMFV Intensive Training begins in February 2026! Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about the program and to receive an application.
