Violence, Exploitation and Children: Shaping a Christian Response

Description
A day consultation for those working with or on behalf of children at risk of violence and exploitation at a local, national, and international level. As well as a series of presentations there will be time for discussion, networking, and exploring practical outcomes in our different settings.
Sessions include:
- Biblical perspectives – presented by Dr Rosalee Velloso Ewell and Dr Tim Davy
- County Lines – presented by Children's Society
- International case studies – presented by Viva
- Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children – presented by Gloucestershire Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers
* the charge includes refreshments throughout the day, but please bring a packed lunch
The day will also facilitate an exploratory conversation on the possibility of starting a 'Children at Risk forum' through Global Connections. An informal session will be held at the end of the formal event, at 4pm for those interested in being involved in the conversation.
