Greetings - you are all invited! Vinyl Sisters (with Outerglobe Femxle DJ Relay) is 4 and we are celebrating at this month's edition on Wednesday November 19th! We started at Upstairs at the Ritzy in November 2021 as soon as we could after lockdown and are going from strength to strength. Looking forward to welcoming you :)

So on this coming Wednesday 19th, our hosts are Miss Feelgood and Debbie Golt - expect classics - revival to ska to roots to shoots and we have not 3, not 4 but FIVE FABULOUS GUESTS! By lucky chance visiting Italian super sound Soul Rockers will still be here after terrific gigs around town and so we have nabbed SOUL ROSE to bring her rare roots and revival tuuunes to the Ritzy - we heard her playing at the recent Dub Me Always and were knocked out! Reach for that treat alone!

And we welcome back SELECTOR BECCA - who made her DJ Debut around the same time as we started and has gone from strength to strength, even hosting her own nights and radio shows - Roots, Ska even maybe a bit of Jazzamatazz in store; LADY BIGZ plays big - classics in style and a mic presence drawing everyone in in pure niceness (shich is the name of the sound she used to run); AND NIDA brings her deep dub and spiritual vibes to the decks in superb selector style.

If you are a womxn with a deep love of Reggae (of any style) with a great vinyl collection and would like to guest sometime soon, let us know. Don't worry if you are new to the decks or playing in public, we'll support you all the way. If you are already out there playing and would like to try something new with a truly friendly and appreciative crowd get in touch as well. Note it is not a walk up session, we'll book you. We welcome womxn MCs as well - and at times it is cool for you to simply step up. We'd like to encourage more womxn to chat on the mic! Uplifting respectful vibes at all times.

All of us love Jamaican music and culture and we are devastated by the destruction and upheavals caused through Hurricane Melissa (which really should be named after the oil and pollution big business heads) and are seeking ways to help.
