Chef Matt Horn of Horn Barbecue, hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as "The Future of Barbecue", will be bringing his award winning Central Texas smoking techniques to Napa, so you won't have to wait in the daily hours-long lines. Chef Horn will sign copies of his book Horn Barbecue, called "a master class in how to make mouthwatering barbecue" and "A history-making cookbook" by Sunset Magazine. Horn was named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs in America, and was nominated for a James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant.
More innovative dishes to complement Chef Horn's barbecue will be prepared by Archer Napa Executive Chef Phillip Moratin, a stellar chef in his own right, having helmed the kitchens at some of Napa Valley's finest restaurants.
ACM winner Michael Ray with Four #1 singles, and multiple Platinum and Gold records will be performing his singular brand of country and rock music and have you dancing as the sun sets over the Mayacamas Mountains.
The Grand Tasting will include some of Napa and Sonoma's greatest award winning wineries!
The event will be hosted by KCBS Foodie Chap Liam Mayclem, an Emmy Award winning radio & TV personality, and highly sought after auctioneer, who annually hosts the Culinary stage at Napa Valley's BottleRock Music Festival.
There will also be a silent auction with great items from the worlds of music, wine, food, sports, and travel, all benefiting V Foundation for Cancer Research, who since 1993 has funded nearly $400 million in game-changing cancer research grants.
