About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

World-renowned jazz pianist and Princeton University’s resident composer Vincent di Mura joins forces with acclaimed pipa (Chinese lute) virtuoso Yihan Chen for an electrifying,

cross-cultural collaboration.

Backed by the top Orange County ensemble—Mando Cordova (vocals), Anthony

Terrezza (guitar), Henry Alexander (tenor sax), Ernie Nunez (bass), and Jimmy

Ford (drums)—these trailblazers blend jazz, blues, and soul, with the timeless

allure of ancient Chinese melodies reinterpreted with the passion of flamenco and

the free spirit of rock guitar.

This concert promises an extraordinary soundscape, mesmerizing textures, and

genre-defying improvisations. Join us, and share in the transcendent joy of music

played with, and for, love.
