Speaker: Emily March
Emily has a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University, and a BA in Bible and Intercultural Studies from Ozark Christian College. She gained 10 years of experience working with people from different cultures and walks of life, helping with issues related to cultural adjustment, marriage, parenting, and spiritual concerns. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families.
In this workshop, we will briefly define family work from a system’s perspective to develop the foundation for the work of the therapist. We will also explore the complexities of working with multiple generations at the same time. Lastly, we will be discussing and practicing some practical techniques and interventions that can be used in sessions.
