Frequently asked questions

What exactly is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a guided meditative experience where you “bathe” in soothing sounds produced by instruments like crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and tuning forks. You’ll lie down or sit comfortably as sound waves gently calm your nervous system, helping you relax deeply—no water involved.

Do I need any experience with meditation or yoga?

No experience is necessary! Sound baths are beginner-friendly and require nothing more than an open mind and willingness to rest. You simply get comfortable and allow the sounds to do the work. Your facilitator will guide you throughout.

What should I bring or wear?

Bring: A yoga mat, blanket, or cushion to lie on (yoga mats are provided) A pillow or bolster for comfort Water bottle An optional eye mask for deeper relaxation Wear loose, cozy layers—comfort is key. The more supported and warm your body feels, the more you’ll benefit.

Are there any medical concerns I should know about?

Most people can safely enjoy a sound bath. However, consult your doctor first if you: Have sound sensitivity, epilepsy, or a serious mental health condition Have a pacemaker or are in early pregnancy (sound vibrations can be intense)
