About this event

BCE@Work in partnership with the School of Communication presents:

Vibing with Your Career: DJ Jasmine Solano on How to Thrive as an Artist and Solopreneur in the Gig-Economy

DJ, digital host and cultural organizer, and Emerson alumni Jasmine Solano (‘06) is “known for bridging the gap between culture, brands and audiences, and is consistently pinned by major brands and music artists as a premier music influencer.”

As an artist and solopreneur, Jasmine has always carved her own path–starting with her IDS major at Emerson, which focused on music and activism. She is the founder of Unity In Color, a global photography series and platform showcasing inclusive solidarity for Women's Equality and co-founder of Club House Global, a social impact live stream platform. Over the past decade she has gained an international reputation as a DJ, on-camera/radio host and curator to a range of clients in music, film, fashion and philanthropy.

Join us Thursday, October 5th, for a unique guest speaker event filled with music, food, conversation and insights as Dr. Jae Williams and Jasmine Solano converse on her career, the importance of your creative voice, and the joy of connecting communities through music.

Details: Thursday, Oct 5th @ 6 - 8pm, Semel Theater.

All Emerson community members are welcome.
