Vevolution Topics: Ethical Fashion - Changing The Face Of Fashion

Recent years have seen an awakening of consciousness in the fashion world. Increasingly designers are innovating with animal free materials to create beautiful ethical clothing. This event will bring together leading fashion entrepreneurs and models to share their stories.

Speakers include:

Alicia Lai - Founder of Bourgeois Boheme
Alicia founded Bourgeois Boheme in 2005. She is an ex-Podiatrist and long-term vegan. With a pre-love for shoes, Alicia moved to London to forge her foot care expertise with her vegan values and bring the luxury animal-free footwear that she was struggling to find herself into the world.

Laura Stageman - Founder of Votch
Laura Stageman is the founder of Votch, the vegan leather watch company that launched in 2016. Based in London, Votch is a new, innovative cruelty-free watch brand that is now being stocked and sold worldwide.

Lucas Windhager - Alive Boutique
Lucas is the founder of the vegan Asos, Alive Boutique - which stands for A Little Vegan Boutique. Lucas will discuss how to set up a fashion related vegan startup and talk about emerging online trends in veganism and fashion.

Gabi Gershuny - Crawl Arts
Gabi Gershuny is the founder of Crawl Arts, an emerging London-based environmental art platform using creativity to engage with, and raise awareness about climate-related issues.

Food and Drink Includes:

One Planet Pizza - Grab a slice of life and try the UK’s first frozen vegan pizza company that's owned by the community it serves.

The Vurger Co - Soul-satisfying gourmet burgers made entirely with vegetables, seeds, nuts and legumes - all delicious plant-based ingredients.

About Vevolution Topics:

Vevolution Topics are a series of educational events showcasing the leading lights in the vegan and conscious living movement.

After the success of Vevolution Festival 2016, we wanted to bring you a more intimate experience with opportunities to connect with like-minded people and learn about important issues. 


Initially we will hold 4 events from February-May with each event focusing on a different area of the vegan movement. Topics include:

Health and Wellbeing in March
Activism and Campaigning in April
Ethical Fashion in May
