Registration Requirements:

MUST be Active Duty, Trainsitioning Veteran, Separated Veteran, or Spouse of one of these

MUST have validated through the ID.me portal at the website above
MUST commit to attending the Orientation and all daily sessions. Orientation will be held the week prior to the course beginning. This Orientation will be at 9AM Pacific. Details will be shared upon acceptance into the course.

Students that do not attend the Orientation will not be allowed to attend the course unless arrangements are made through the Education Director or Education Coordinator.

Priority seating for the course will be for unemployed students. If remaining slots are available, seats will be assigned accordingly.

Course Overview

This six-week course will prepare you to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. The course will cover all of the topics that are covered on the exam, including:

Project management fundamentals

Project planning

Project execution

Project monitoring and control

Project closure

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

Understand the principles and practices of project management

Apply project management knowledge and skills to real-world projects

Successfully pass the PMP exam

Course Audience

This course is open to military personnel, veterans, and spouses of either who are interested in learning about project management and preparing for the PMP exam.

Course Format

The course will meet once weekly for six weeks. Each class will consist of a lecture, followed by a discussion and/or hands-on exercise.

Course Materials

Students will receive a copy of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) and other relevant course materials.

This course comes with a test voucher for the PMP exam.

Instructor

The course will be taught by a certified project management professional with extensive experience in preparing students for the PMP exam.
