Veterans in Crisis: Understanding PTSD and Trauma

Honor Veterans Day with a powerful, full-day workshop designed to equip you with the skills and insight needed to better serve veterans and their families. Veterans in Crisis: PTSD and Trauma blends expert teaching, veteran voices, and hands-on tools to help you understand military culture, evaluate trauma, and respond with evidence-based approaches to healing. From hearing directly from combat veterans to exploring strategies for addressing suicide risk, you’ll leave with practical knowledge you can immediately apply in your clinical work or community. Join us November 11 in Lake City, MN, earn 6 CEUs, enjoy a buffet lunch (included in registration), and make a difference—all while supporting Veterans Empowered, Inc., a nonprofit providing free PTSD treatment to disabled veterans.

This training has been approved for 6-hours of cultural competence & clinical CEU's by the Minnesota Boards of: Marriage and Family Therapy (Pending), Behavioral Health and Therapy (LPCC & LADC) (Pending), and Social Work.
