Overview
This workshop will be offered IN PERSON in the Extension Service. Our address is: 5339 County Road 579, Seffner, FL 33584.
Come get your hands dirty (in a fun way!) and learn how to compost using worms. This hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to help the Earth by turning food scraps into healthy soil.
You’ll meet real composting worms, learn what they like to eat, and even help build a worm bin. By the end, you’ll know how to start your own worm composting system at home or school!
What You’ll Learn:
- What worm composting is and why it’s awesome
- How to set up and take care of a worm bin
- What to feed your worms (and what to avoid)
- How to use worm castings (worm poop!) to help plants grow
- Easy ways to fix common problems
