The Verizon Forward for Good Accelerator Showcase is an invite-only opportunity for health equity centered startups to present their solution and share their mission to potential partners, investors, customers, and Verizon stakeholders. Emcee'd by one of our Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, Emily Goodson, the event will take place on May 31st, 2023 and will celebrate technology-enabled solutions working to close the gaps in health access and outcomes.

5:30pm – 6:45pm: Startup presentations

6:45pm - 8:30pm: Networking reception to meet the startups, learn more about their solutions, and network with fellow partners in the healthcare space.

The Verizon Forward for Good Accelerator, built in tandem with innovation agency coLAB, invites leaders in technology, innovation, and social entrepreneurship to support startups using leading-edge technology, such as 5G, MEC, AI, and XR to drive meaningful social change. This initiative is part of Citizen Verizon, Verizon’s plan for economic, environmental, and social advancement.

About the Accelerator Founders

Founders participating in the accelerator are building solutions using next-generation technology to advance equity across many areas of healthcare. Participating startups are addressing issues from health literacy to diabetes and mental health. Service areas covered include; remote patient monitoring, population health management,, virtual care coordination, transportation, and education.
