Description

How can you have your say on the proposed new policy frameworks that will impact how you operate your business?

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Natural Capital Coalition and WWF-UK are hosting a meeting for business on the implications and opportunities presented by the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan and new Industrial Strategy, reflecting the need for these frameworks to help us achieve the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

With the Industrial Strategy published in January and the 25 year plan for the environment due, this is the time to find out what it means for business and how these can work in unison towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

We are delighted that speakers will include:

Hilary Lindsay, ICAEW President;

Tanya Steele, WWF-UK Chief Executive;

John Lelliott OBE, Natural Capital Coalition Chair.

And a panel of representatives led by:

John Elkington, Volans Executive Chairman and Co-Founder.

And including:

Emma Howard Boyd, Environment Agency Chair;

Dinah McLeod, Global Commission on Business and Sustainable Development Deputy Director;

Chris Gerrard, Natural Catchment and Biodiversity Manager at Anglian Water;

Toby Peters, Dearman Board Director and Strategic Advisor and Heriot-Watt University Visiting Professor on Transformational Innovation for Sustainability.

We will also have an interactive session to gather the thoughts and ideas from the room as we build a joint strategy for businesses and communities to craft the plans that work for them.
