Join Tree Stewards Carol Wise and Jackie Vawter on this walk through beautiful surroundings as we discuss the history of the area, some specimen and native trees.
They will share information about the value of biodiversity, tree identification, and specific qualities related to each tree discussed. This is an easy to moderate walk over a gentle sloping area of paved walkways and grassy areas under a high canopy of trees.
Please meet in front of the UVA Chapel, located at 145 McCormick Road on the corner of University Avenue and McCormick Roads.
Street parking is limited. There are two parking decks available. One is on Grounds under the UVA Bookstore and the second one is located on 14th Street.
