Utilizing ILEARN Checkpoint Data with the IDOE Assessment Team
Overview
Join the Indiana Department of Education Assessment Team for an interactive, in-person professional learning experience designed to help educators make the most of their ILEARN Checkpoint data. This session takes a hands-on approach to exploring Checkpoint 1 results, guiding participants through accessing, interpreting, and using student data to inform and strengthen instruction.
Educators will dive into the ILEARN Checkpoint system and its theory of action, learn to navigate Cambium’s Centralized Reporting System (CRS), and take part in focused breakout sessions for ELA and Math. With support from IDOE Assessment Content Specialists, participants will analyze authentic student data, collaborate on grouping strategies, and plan actionable next steps using the Instructional and Assessment Frameworks. Whether you’re new to ILEARN Checkpoints or continuing from last year’s pilot, you’ll leave with practical tools and insights to transform data into instructional impact.
