Presented by: Christina Zavell, J.D. , Joseph A. Davis, EA, CDFA, BFA, and Carol Storey, LCSW
About the Program
Divorce after age 50—commonly referred to as Gray Divorce—has become the fastest growing demographic shift in family law. According to AARP, Baby Boomers are divorcing at unprecedented rates, with the divorce rate for this age group tripling between 1990 and 2021.
This seminar will explore the complexities unique to gray divorce, including:
- The emotional and legal challenges faced by older adults
- Complicated financial considerations, such as retirement planning and asset division
- The value of incorporating a financial neutral into the collaborative divorce process to ensure full transparency and a well-informed resolution
