Usui Reiki I Certification Course

Join Reiki Master Bethany Cunha for a transformative Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki I Certification Course, based on the standards and teachings of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). This course introduces you to the history, principles, and healing techniques of Reiki energy—an ancient Japanese practice that promotes relaxation, stress relief, and holistic well-being.

Students will learn:

• The history and lineage of Reiki and its evolution through Usui and Holy Fire® traditions
• The five Reiki principles and how to live them in daily life
• Energy scanning and hand placement techniques for self-healing and offering Reiki to others
• The Reiki I placement (attunement) that opens your energy channels to the Reiki flow
• Practical applications of Reiki for emotional balance, stress relief, and spiritual grounding

This is a beginner-friendly certification—no prior experience is needed. Upon completion, you will receive your official Reiki I certification and be able to practice Reiki for self-care, loved ones, and even pets.

Bethany Cunha, Reiki Master (Usui Level III, Animal Reiki I & II Practitioner)
Bethany is a certified Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master Teacher and Animal Reiki Practitioner with a deep passion for energy healing, mindfulness, and helping others rediscover inner peace.

With over 18 years of experience as a public school educator, Bethany brings a uniquely qualified teaching approach to her Reiki classes. Her expertise in instructional design and classroom management ensures that students not only experience Reiki but also understand it on a practical and spiritual level. Unlike many Reiki teachers without formal teaching backgrounds, Bethany’s professional training allows her to create a clear, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student thrives.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration to hold your place. Cancellations made up to two weeks before the class date will result in the loss of the deposit. Cancellations within two weeks of the class date or no-shows forfeit the full course fee, as materials and preparation time are invested in advance.
