Event description
We will explore the importance of questioning to build a culture of Inquiry and the importance of students formulating their own questions.

About this Event

Young children are natural question-askers but as students move into upper grades research shows that questioning starts to decline. As questions start to decline so does possible engagement. In this workshop we will not only be diving into to importance of questioning but also a strategy to help students formulate their own questions. We will explore the importance of thinking broadly and creatively, synthesizing and analyzing, and finally thinking about one’s own learning and how this relates to formulating questions and becoming self-directed learners. Join the TGR EDU: Create Educator Community as we explore these strategies in a FREE live event on Wednesday, October 14th at 9am PDT or 4pm PDT.

By participating, you will:

  • How to develop multiple thinking abilities
  • Strategy to formulate questions
  • Steps to improve questions
  • How to prioritize questions
  • Determine how to use the questions generated

This live digital workshop is more than your traditional webinar.  All attendees are encouraged to connect via video conference – you will have the opportunity to share and contribute along with your peers!  Join us on Wednesday, October 14th at 9am PDT or 4pm PDT to learn, discuss and develop strategies to effectively implement project-based learning in the digital classroom.

Be sure to stick around immediately following the workshop for Create Cafe- informal office hours hosted by TGR EDU: Create.  Ask questions, seek support from other educators, or simply drop in to say "hello!"
