As we transition from 2016 to 2017, it’s a wonderful time to start thinking about personal and professional transitions. Please join Shape the Law co-founders Alix Devendra, Jeena Cho and Mary Redzic for this live, one-hour webinar on successfully navigating career transitions in or out of the law.

We'll explore the following topics:

  • Tools and techniques to help you find your passion
  • Aligning your passion with your work
  • Daily mindfulness practices to help you gain clarity and ease
  • Exploring non-lawyer job alternatives
  • Crunching the numbers—exploring financial considerations

This workshop is limited to 25 participants so you can be part of the conversations and to have an opportunity answer your questions! This workshop will be interactive and experiential.

About the Instructors:

Alix Devendra left Big Law to start a legal design consulting practice. She now teaches other attorneys and legal-tech startups how to use design to communicate the law more effectively. Learn how she used concepts from design thinking to navagitate her transition.

Jeena Cho began her legal career in the State Attorney's office. She then transitioned to private practice, starting her own bankruptcy law practice. In addition to her law practice, she now offers consulting services to law firms on mindfulness and meditation. Learn how she used mindfulness practices to overcome fear and stress.

Mary Redzic began her career as a solo practitioner and then transitioned to an in-house counsel position where she had to find ways to use technology to improve her efficiency as her company grew. She discovered that her passion lies in developing and improving technology for lawyers and is now transitioning to a career in product management for legal-tech companies. Learn how she discovered her passion and leveraged her legal experience in transitioning to a new career.
