Using Data to Fundraise Smarter

Using Data to Fundraise Smarter

By United Way of Central Indiana
Online event

Overview

This workshop is a part of United Way of Central Indiana's Spring 2026 Nonprofit Learning Center series.

There are mountains of data available about our supporters: from publicly available wealth data, information on a donor’s giving history across causes, and the data we collect when our donors attend events, volunteer and interact with us, it can be a lot. Harnessing data to focus on the most ready and capable donors is crucial to meet your fundraising goals. Today’s donors also expect a personalized experience, something that artificial intelligence can help us do at scale.

We’ll unpack the best data sources available today for all sizes of nonprofits. Then, we’ll talk about key ways you can integrate the data you already have - even if you can’t afford a dedicated data team member. And, we’ll discuss emerging technology, and how to use AI ethically and beneficially. We’ll explore a data case study together, and get your feedback on what tools and strategies are working. Join this interactive session to hear new ways to use data to amplify the joy of giving, and meet your goals by “fundraising smarter.”
