About this event

Using Art and Art Making to Support Adult Learners

Description: How can discussing works of art and making art support adult learners? In this hands-on virtual workshop, we will consider how discussions of identity and landscape, coupled with simple art making activities, can be leveraged to support English language acquisition, as well as ABE and HSE curricula. Participants are asked to have scissors, glue or tape (optional), and printouts of pictures of two or more personally meaningful places for use during the workshop.
