Take a scavenger hunt using a map and compass that leads you to discover historic artifacts within Capitol Park!

Explore and have fun at Capitol Park to earn your Junior Ranger Badge. A Park Guide will teach Junior Rangers about the plants and animals in this urban park with hands-on activities. This is a free event for children ages 7 to 12.

Registration is required as space is limited.

Notes:

  • A parent or guardian must accompany their child during the program.
  • Location is 13th Street and Capitol Avenue.
  • Program will be cancelled during inclement weather.
