Don't miss a special screening and discussion of "Upstream, Downriver."
The film takes viewers into the heart of the battle for water justice. Powerful stories with frontline community activists are interwoven with historical context about landmark regulations that significantly reduced water pollution in the U.S. but failed to serve disadvantaged communities that are hardest hit by today’s climate crisis.
Stick around after the screening for a Q&A by the film’s Director, Maggie Burnette Stogner, and oceanographer, geologist & climate scientist, Alex Kolker PhD. "Upstream, Downriver" features The Water Collaborative’s Executive Director, Jessica Dandridge-Smith, and other water warriors from across the United States.
