Upcycled Gift Wrap Workshop! Presented by Environment Colorado
Overview
Join us for a sewing and crafts workshop where we will upcycle old pillowcases, t-shirts, or other fabric into reusable gift bags and wrapping paper for the holidays! Bring your old pillowcases and t-shirts and we’ll teach you how to turn them into sustainable, convenient gift wrapping. All skill levels and ages are welcome. This is your opportunity to reduce the amount of single use wrapping paper you use and throw away this holiday season!
This workshop is a choose-your-own-adventure opportunity to upcycle old fabric into easy, convenient, and reusable gift wrapping.
Choose between turning a t-shirt into gift wrapping fabric (no sewing required), or learn how to sew a simple or boxed bag for gifts.
PLEASE BRING OLD PILLOWCASES OR T-SHIRTS TO USE AS YOUR MATERIALS!
Rachel works on campaigns aimed at reducing plastic waste and protecting wildlife with Environment Colorado. She lives in Denver and enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting and spending time with family. Her crafting hobbies include fabric crafts, jewelry making, and botanical illustration.
